A semi-detached country house, located in a beautiful valley in the Algarve mountains, more precisely, in the village of Cerca dos Pomares (5 km from Aljezur). "Casa Figueira" is part of our trio of local accommodation houses. It is twinned with "Casa Medronheiro," and this, in turn, with "Casa Videira." (see photo in gallery) In the village of Aljezur, you will find Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Restaurants and varied commerce. To do this, however, you will always have to travel by car (road in poor condition!).

Our private house is located in a peaceful condominium only 10 minutes walking to nearby beaches and center of Carvoeiro. It was built by architects with the idea of resembling it to old constructions around the Mediterranean/North of Africa. My family fully renovated the apartment in July 2023 respecting it's architecture and using local materials. Some furniture was handmade by my father using recycled materials from the house, such as the high quality wood for the dinner table or the closet.

It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. If you are searching for quality and peace you found the right house!
