Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the country . It is convenient to Interstate 12 and Interstate 55 and is located halfway between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. So if you want to come for a LSU or Saints football game and want to check out New Orleans you have the right spot. It is about 45miles northwest of New Orleans. Also, if you are a travel medical worker contracted with the local hospital, North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, La it is approximately 17 miles away.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 4.5 miles from SELU Campus and 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding and it worked great! The kitchen was well supplied and open to living room so it worked perfect for our family. The yard was great for the kids to run around in. The beds were comfortable, especially the master and the showers had sting water pressure. All of my family mentioned how great the showers were!!😂. Definitely recommend this place and will stay there again as my daughter lives in Hammond!!

Absolutely lovely! Great pictures but even greater beauty in person! Harper was very friendly & accommodating to last minute requests. The sofa is super comfy, loved it! (I want one just like that for my home now) The bed, oh my! It was hard getting out of that cozy Queen size bed. I would definitely recommend this cute cabin to everyone I know! An Amazing family farm!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We came down for a family wedding, and the house was perfect—beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The instructions provided were clear, well-placed throughout the home, and made everything easy to navigate. Katie was super responsive and helpful, even though we didn’t end up needing much assistance. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We’d gladly stay here again!

This cabin wasn’t just a place to stay - it became our own slice of heaven, hidden from the world and steeped in wild beauty. We spent six unforgettable days wrapped in the arms of the forest, swimming and kayaking in the river, picnicking on white sandbanks along the shore, and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. At night, nature's orchestra came alive - crickets, cicadas, and bullfrogs in a powerful, primal chorus. We sat by the fire, totally immersed and in awe of it all. The cabin is rustic, simple, and soulful... not five-star hotel luxury, but something far deeper. Yes, there are bugs, and yes, you’ll get a few bites - but the magic makes it more than worth it. (Dab bites with alcohol and carry on!) Krista, our host, was amazing - present if needed, but respectful of our solitude. We grilled dinner, boiled shrimp over the fire, and got engaged here. This place will forever hold our hearts. We can’t wait to return!

I had a wonderfully peaceful experience! It’s so important to find a fantastic location for rest and quiet time with the Lord. I wish I could have stayed longer; sometimes, it’s hard to leave such serene places behind. At my grown age, I was a little frightened of darkness, but nighttime on the patio was truly special. I hope I get the chance to book another stay soon—this time for a longer, uninterrupted retreat!

Nikki’s place was very nice. Pool table, ping pong and other stuff kept us busy when we were home. Nice and peaceful location. The drive to New Orleans from this place is amazing. The route is scenic and beautiful. We enjoy it all.

Arrived late in the evening and it was kinda dark and hard to find the cabin since it is secluded. Was not exactly sure where we had to go, but was able to find it. Place was as expected and advertised. Had good communication and the wife and i enjoyed the stay. Would stay here again.
