Villa holiday rentals in Alajuela Province

This place is incredible! The pictures don’t do it justice. Walking up to views of the Arenal Volcano while drinking coffee on the lovely front porch was a highlight. Alfonso’s place is spacious and very clean with everything you need for your stay. The outdoor shower was unique and a nice added touch to the property! There are several great restaurants in walking distance as well. I highly recommend this place.

The most amazing view we got to see in Costa Rica, over lush mountains all the way to the Pacific Ocean!!! The accommodation was exactly as pictured, very new and super clean. The pool areas is very pleasant and the hosts were extremely friendly!

Stephanie and David’s place was perfect for our 3-night stay in Monteverde. It had everything we needed and the hot tub was an added bonus to help us relax after a day of adventure. Would definitely recommend if your travels to Costa Rica take you to Monteverde!

We’ve stayed at some cool places over the years, but Casa Del Mono is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a perfect little getaway for anyone who wants to be close to nature but with all the comforts of home. It’s a very private property sitting way up the side of a mountain with a beautiful courtyard and hiking trails right out the front door. You simply cannot beat the view, and waking up to a chorus of birds like toucans, oropendolas, and tanagers was incredible (bring your binoculars)! The house itself is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is comfortable, and the shower/tub are gorgeous. It was everything we were hoping for in a Costa Rican stay, and I hope we get to visit again soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Brayan’s place. He was very hospitable, it was located near many fun activities, the view was beautiful, and the kids loved the pool! We’d definitely recommend!

Nos a encantado el lugar era igual a las fotos. Todo estaba muy limpio y organizado además tiene una entrada privada. Mi lugar favorito fue el porch / Balcón amo la naturaleza y amé tomarme mi tacita de café mirando la naturaleza. Muy tranquilo, hay mucho que hacer a sus alrededores, hicimos muchas actividades y la pasamos súper. Katherine fue muy amable y cordial nos lavo la ropa y la dejo bien limpia y doblada algo que casi nadie ofrece. Le estamos muy agradecidos por ser tan amable. La recomendamos 200%.

La casa es súper bonita y la terraza con el jacuzzi y la regadera un sueño. Nos gustó bastante y está muy cerca a „la Fortuna Waterfall“.

I cannot say enough about the support offered by Home Vacations - especially Mario - in helping me plan and organize our activities for our visit. He helped with tours, drivers, and insight into tour options. The home was lovely! It was perfect for our very large group of teens and adults. Guisel was always on hand and available to happily answer any questions we had. (In Spanish!). Not only would I recommend this particular listing, I would absolutely go back and stay here again. It's not just a home away from home, it's a home with help!

During our stay there are many great local areas. There are great places like a tasty ice cream shop by the name of “Pops”. And an amazing restaurant by the name of “Restaurante Fortuneño”. In the home the backyard seating area is beautiful and the doors slide all the way open with a television with many American streaming services and a fresh fan overhead. The rooms are kept cool with very functioning air conditioning. Any issues or accommodations that was needed Rafael was extremely responsive and helpful. My only recommendation is to keep a keen eye for the entrance which is a tricky entrance if not extremely attentive. There is a restaurant to the left of a medical center and they are extremely helpful in navigating where the entrance is. I felt safe with knowing the house needs a gated code to unlock. There is many excursions in the area such as a day pass to the Baldi hot springs which is a ten minute drive away from the home that I COMPLETELY recommend. This home is beautiful!

Very spacious home! A beautiful kitchen and a great patio to have breakfast!! The home was very clean! Large bedrooms! Carolina was excellent ! She was always available and answered all questions! She even got groceries and had it ready before we got there! We had a personal chef ! We will definitely recommend!!! So quiet and great view!! We already miss the place!!

Absolutely stunning stay! The host was incredibly responsive and gave us a full tour upon arrival. He was also very flexible as our arrival time changed due to traffic and flights. The pictures don’t do the property justice—it’s immaculate, peaceful, and beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. You’re fully immersed in the rainforest with the sounds of wildlife and even a family of sloths on site! There are so many areas to relax and enjoy nature. The on-site staff was attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Even though there are a few other homes on the property, it still felt very private and secluded. Perfect for both small and large groups, with the option to rent the entire estate. Highly recommend and would love to return! Thank you, Andy!

The villa was absolutely beautiful. We has a birdseye view of the volcano. It is a peaceful and tranquil area. Pedro was always available to assist us. Homer became our personal tour guide. Vicky did everything to make are stay enjoyable. I will definitely book her home again. Vicky's home was the cleanest and we'll stock airbnb that I have stayed

What a beautiful home! This place is equipped, detailed, clean, comfortable and maintained. The views are endless. The nights are gorgeous. We spent the majority of our time on the back patio and in the pool. The outdoor shower was amazing. Francisco, the caretaker, was also just so fabulous. He was so helpful and just precious. It was just myself and my best friend, two females, and we felt very safe. They had very comfortable beds, sheets, pillows, towels, linens in general. My best friend and I felt right at home. Probably one of the most comfortable well equipped homes that I’ve stayed in. Definitely the cleanest. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Looking forward to the air-conditioning in the upper bedrooms!

We loved the house , the space, the pool and even the surroundings in the house floor and the downstairs that has a lot to explore. Mafe ( Maria ) was an amazing host and always there to help and respond anything we needed. She helped accommodate us the best possible for any needs needed . We loved that each room had a bathroom , plus two more in the house overall. We loved the lady who cooked and also takes care of the house . Her name is Gloria and she truly made our stay feel like HOME. Her cooking is amazing and she does it with love. She was truly one of our favorites part of the stay. The location was good and even had a spot nearby with different spots to try different food . We truly enjoyed this Airbnb to the max. Gloria makes the home feel like home and Mafe made us feel at home in Costa Rica.

Amazing place to stay with friends or family and close to La Fortuna downtown and the El Salto rope swing. Great backyard with grill and pool that is covered from the rain.

I cannot say enough about how great this stay was our bnb was amazing, but our trip was truly made by Guillermo! He is a local who has a transportation service and was recommended by Rafael. He not only drove us from place to place regardless the time or distance with a smile on his face and became a part of group( inside jokes and all!)

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood, close to the supermarket and restaurants. We walked to the Red Frog several times for coffee and meals. 20 min drive to Arenal Park and Mystico. Great touches around the home. Would definitely stay again!

Joshua's place is the perfect spot to make a pit stop for a couple of nights. The house is very clean and comfortable and has a gorgeous view of the volcano at sunset. The washing machine was a little tricky to figure out but we got there in the end. You definitely need a car for getting into La Fortuna, but the neighbourhood around the house is really beautiful and interesting, and definitely worth seeing in addition to the bustle of La Fortuna. Overall, really good value for money.

From beginning to end, everything was absolutely perfect. Arnaldo was so easy to communicate with and answered all questions quickly. I knew this place would be gorgeous but the pics really do not do justice to how insanely gorgeous the property truly is. I would 10000% stay again if in area. Felt like luxury! Truly loved this spot sooooo very much! Only a 15 min drive to La Fortuna center. Thank you, Arnaldo and family! We could not have been more pleased!! Wonderful stay!!!

the house was BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLL the scenery was amazing! Roberto was a great host and was very responsive and addressed all my questions & concerns. The chef he recommended was also great, food was good! Only 2 cons bugs inside the home but that’s not their faults, we understand it came with the area and the front door was locked our whole stay (we entered the house through the back sliding door) But no biggie! I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend Roberto’s house 100%.

Jeannine was a terrific host. Volcano Villa was a great home base for all of our activities in the area. The accommodations suited our family and we felt very welcome.
