Holiday houses in Al Jaya

The place was spacious and clean for our family of five. The beds were comfortable for a good nights rest. Some downsides were that the bathroom was small and water in shower wouldn’t drain quickly. There is also no microwave but we were happy that a washing machine was provided. The WiFi was very slow & didn’t really work until the last night when the host helped us. The host Yahya was very responsive, friendly and accommodating to our needs. Overall we had a pleasant stay! Thank you

What an amazing place. Stunning views, clean and comfortable chalets, and wonderful company. Lovely to escape to such peaceful surroundings and meet some great people.

Can’t thank Gail enough for my stay at her lovely home. Super comfortable, nice bathroom and great hospitality. She prepares a big breakfast at the house or she will pack it for you to go if you want to get to Petra early. Gail is a wealth of info about Petra and other travel needs since she organized tours previously. The house is removed from town but great view on the hill and is close to the Petra entrance. The added bonus of Bessie and Lula the animal companions add to the home feel. Had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

The place is pleasantly surprising. Clean and pampering spacious. Comfortable for a large family. Outside wading pool and fire pit. The owners of the farm are really welcoming.

Eman and her family were incredibly hospitable and friendly. It was such a great experience to be welcomed into their home and fed traditional foods that they were all too happy for us to experience. Before arrival they were communicative. Our space was clean private and comfortable.

Manal and Abid were great hosts. They know the area extremely well, and they were able to provide a lot of special advice to help me have the best experience in Petra. I tried authentic Jordanian food, went on a horse ride in the desert, and hiked to Petra’s monastery and treasury with a local guide. They can really plan any local activity for you! They also organised my pickup and dropoff from Amman. It was a wonderful experience from the beginning to the end. Next time I hope to stay longer.
