A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

Located only a 50 minute drive north from Reykjavík, this cozy cabin serves as a perfect base to discover all the south-west and west of Iceland. Relax by the fireplace after a day of adventure or have a refreshing time in the hot tub in the midnight sun with the birds chirping, or with the northern lights dancing in the sky. The area offers great hiking trails with stunning scenery.

Cosy apartment in a peacful area, only 25-30 minutes away from city center. Mount. Esjan is in easy reach away with numerous trails and stunning views of the southwestern part of the country. Here we have the northern lights dancing upon us and all around the beautiful mountain scenery during the winter months. During the summertime you can enjoy the spectacular and unique midnight sun in the pure Icelandic nature. We also offer guided hikes and northern light tours upon request.

Our 78 square meter 1 bedroom cottage is located 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik. The cottage is luxurious and has an outdoor natural water hot tub from where you can enjoy the Northern Lights or the fantastic sunset. The living area and the balcony have a spectacular view overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a great base for day tours in the south or west of Iceland. Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Snæfells glacier are all within 1-2 hours’ drive.

An example of what's near our property: adventure for couples or individuals, good hiking trails mountain Esja, Mosfellsdalur, Álafoss valley, horse association Hörður and short to Icelandic nature, 30 minutes drive to Þingvellir National Park, Grocery store and swimming pool within walking distance. Public transport to Reykjavik (bus). What charms people with the property is bright and entrance on the ground floor. Couples, business travelers enjoy themselves in the property.

Spectacular place´ Wake up to the ocean dancing, birds singing and seals right outside your window. Approximately 50 kilometres outside of Reykjavik, more precisely, in Hvalfjordur is a little cottage located right by the ocean shore. On the ground floor is a joint kitchen/living room includes a microwave and a dishwasher. The kitchen view is the sea itself. Toilet with a shower On the second floor has a bedroom loft with 2 queen size beds and one single person’s bed.

Cozy little house in the quiet and beautiful countryside of Kjos, panoramic views of mountains and the surrounding countryside. Excellent location--only 45-minutes to Reykjavik and Thingvellir National Park. Close by to Glymur Waterfall and many great hiking opportunities. A GREAT PLACE FOR WATCHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. For summertime visits, we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.

Hvalfjarðarsveit Cottage with Mountain view

It's located in West Iceland with a view over Lake Eiðisvatn, the Hvalfjörður and the spectacular mountains around the fjord. Behind the small village of Melahverfi, which is signposted on the ringroad. Akranes is around 15 minutes away. In autumn and winter, this is also a good place to watch the Northern Lights. Although the view is wonderful, you can't help but see an aluminium plant a few kilometres away.
