Family home in a quiet neighborhood in Akranes, just 350 m from Langasand Beach. Three bedrooms (180, 140 & 120 cm beds), two bathrooms, and a bright open-plan kitchen and living area. Large deck with a hot tub and cold tub, garden with a trampoline and football goals. Grocery store 1.2 km away. Reykjavík is a 45-minute drive. Our friendly outdoor cat, Mia, stays with the house. This is our family home. We kindly ask guests to treat it with the same respect as their own home.

Our private home is located in a quite neighborhood and is perfect for families or small groups. It has 3 bedrooms one with 160 cm bed , one with 140 cm sofa bed and one with 2x90 cm beds. Visit the main attractions in Akranes, Guðlaug, Langisandur, swimming pool, museum and local park within walking distance and the lighthouse is around 4 km from the house. Great location to stop at during your trip around Iceland. Around 40 minutes drive to Reykjavík.

Fallegt og stílhreint heimili við ströndina á Akranesi. Raðhús á tveimur hæðum. Neðri hæð: inngangur og skrifstofuherbergi. Efri hæð: opið eldhús og stofa, tvö svefnherbergi og eitt baðherbergi. Verönd með útihúsgögnum og grilli, sjávarútsýni. Framhlið húsins Snýr í suður og með útsýni út á sjóinn. Heitur pottur er á ströndinni í um 300m fjarlægð. Góð staðsetning til að ferðast um allt suðvesturlandið.

Cozy house in Akranes

Góður staður til að slaka á í nálægð við hafið. Húsið er upphaflega byggt árið 1904 en var flutt á nýjan steyptan grunn árið 1982 og þá stækkað talsvert til suðurs, auk þess sem pallur var smíðaður. Að grunni til samanstendur húsi af kjallara, jarðhæð og risi, en þeirra á milli eru pallar, þannig að húsið byggist í raun á fimm stöllum. Hlýlegt og gott andrúmloft einkennir þetta notalega heimili.
