The area is peaceful and the sun shines on the terrace throughout the day, the sauna heats up in the evenings. Comfort is enhanced by an air heat pump that provides both coolness and heat as needed. In winter, the centre is a short distance across the lake, 2.5 km along the road, and the ski trails are 300 metres away. There is also a playground and a ski bus stop 200 meters away.
