10/10 beautiful location. Very peaceful and private yet close to town. The hut had everything we needed and more. We watched the sunset while the Tuis swooped past the window and fell asleep listening to the rain on the roof. In the morning we had a hot shower outside surrounded by the beautiful gardens. Great value for money. We hope to stay again!

Wonderful place to stay. The house and the view are beyond expectation. Warm welcome from Nicky and her daughter Fran. Don’t look for any other place this is the one to enjoy after a long hawl. Worth cruising to see the dolphins and the seals. Thank you Nicky and Fran Fran, your chocolate were delicious. Next time we will stay longer.

We had a fantastic stay at this Akaroa apartment. The location couldn’t be better - right on the waterfront with beautiful views and just a short stroll to everything in town. The apartment was clean, warm, and well set up with everything we needed, including a great kitchen and comfy beds. Off-street parking was a bonus. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway - highly recommend!

Maree’s place is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, nestled beside a stream where you can hear the calming rush of water — such a soothing soundtrack to our stay. The garden is lovely, even in winter, and the rustic charm of the cottage added to the experience. Being an older home, it does get chilly in the colder months, but once we got the fire going, it was warm and cozy. We especially loved the relaxed atmosphere, enjoying the sauna and spa, and reading our books in the sun on the front deck. The location is ideal — very close to the Woodills Track and within walking distance to Akaroa township. It’s a perfect spot for a couple’s getaway. The bed was super comfy too, which is always a bonus. Highly recommend for those wanting a quiet, nature-filled escape with character and charm.
