This is an old private rental house surrounded by the rich nature of Akizuki, which is called the Little Kyoto of Chikuma. You can enjoy beautiful autumn leaves in autumn and cherry blossoms in full bloom in spring. We are particular about the interior and the furniture installed to ensure a comfortable stay in the building, including a well-maintained garden. We provide a space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend a relaxing and extraordinary time. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils such as an IH stove, rice cooker, and hot plate, making it perfect for traveling with family and friends. In addition, the facility is equipped with WiFi and a working desk, so it is also recommended for use as a working space. Located at the foot of Mt. Kojozan, one of the best mountain climbing spots in the prefecture, it is a location where you can fully enjoy mountain climbing. Located at an altitude of 900 m, it is in a villa area of a summer resort. Limited to one group per day, so you can enjoy it without worrying about children. Enjoy the view from the cottage overlooking the Kuju Mountains, the chirping of various birds, and the stars and moonlight twinkling in the night sky. Experience villa life with ease. This Villa does not provide meals or ingredients. There are few places to eat out at night in the neighborhood, so cooking is recommended. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking appliances, utensils, dishes, etc. There are also several hot springs within a 10-minute drive. * BBQ in the garden from late April to early October. We do not recommend it at other times of the year because it is too cold. The stove in the garden is available for free. We will prepare a set of BBQ supplies for ¥2,500. Bringing your own is free. Not available in rainy weather due to lack of roof. You can have a barbecue indoors, but you will be charged ¥2,000 for special cleaning. We will prepare a barbecue plate if you request it.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

In pursuit of comfort, the old beams and the scent of new Kunikuzu cedar wood create a clean and calm space. -About "yori-toko"- Built in 1894, this building was 118 years old as of 2019. The building, which has been around for nearly 120 years, has been a vacant house for nearly 40 years. Once loved by neighborhood children who came to study and play, this building was renovated. Returning to its original form, it was reborn as "Fukuchi no Yado Kafu yori-toko". The name "yori-toko" is based on the owner's desire for this place to continue to be a warm place where people can gather, just as it was once a popular "place to gather". With foundation work and insulation, it has become a comfortable home for the current climate.
