Holiday rentals with lake access in Aguacaliente o San Francisco District

Nos encantó el lugar, un sitio muy como y accesible, tranquilo y acogedor. Todo su entorno está muy bien organizado y apto para la visita. Estamos muy agradecidos con su atención.

Our stay at this home was nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching toucans play in the trees each morning was an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Afternoons by the pool were pure bliss, offering a serene escape surrounded by lush greenery. The home itself was beautifully designed, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in nature with luxury and charm, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Leonardo’s place was even more beautiful than the photos! Very peaceful and a great place to start our trip to Costa Rica. He even helped arrange transportation for us from San José, which worked out great. Would love to stay again if we are in Turrialba!

We had a great stay. The house is as described and the kitchen was particularly well equipped. The beds were comfy. Irma was very helpful with recommendations and a booking for a birthday meal. We received fresh eggs in the morning, which was lovely. This does mean noise from the chickens, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There is a lovely balcony and plenty of space for the kids to run around.

Awesome place, very clean and modern, exactly as it looked in the pictures and described.

Estuvimos cómodos. La cabina estaba bien equipada. Lugar tranquilo y de facil acceso. La pasamos muy bien

La casa y la experiencia impecable, nos gustó mucho y la estadía fue muy tranquila, excelente casa vacacional. Solo unos pequeños detalles que tomar en cuenta, el lugar cuenta con muy poca señal para Kölbi, casi nula. Con Movistar sí llega un poco más de señal. La pantalla no conectaba a ninguna red, por lo cual, no se pudieron ver películas. Le pregunté al anfitrión cómo funcionaba el Jacuzzi y no respondió. Hasta el 3 día, el jacuzzi llegó a una temperatura tibia. Todo lo demás, la piscina, habitaciones, juegos de mesa, súper bien y hermoso.

This place is great before and after hiking Chirripó. They will pack you breakfast to take on your early hike up Chirripó and arrange transportation to the start of the trail (at your own expense). The staff is very friendly, we were caught by surprise that we couldn’t cook in the cabin after buying groceries but the hosts were friendly enough to let us cook in their restaurant kitchen since there were no restaurants open. The cabin itself is beautiful, very peaceful and clean.

Un lugar muy agradable, todo impecable, Ignacio muy accesible y al pendiente de nuestras dudas. Sin duda regresaríamos.

The only negative that Miguel has for his beautiful place is the guards. It seems in their attempt to keep the property safe they repeat the check in repeatedly with every time you enter the property. There needs to be a way that once you check in they will recognize either the car or a paper that allows you to get in without having to sit through the process EVERY time. If you are coming and going through out the day it is very frustrating.

Karen’s place was very well decorated, organized, clean and had all of the necessary amenities. The overall facility is very well maintained with pathways for walking to the pools, fitness room, tennis courts and restaurant. I felt very comfortable and secure as the entire facility is gated and guarded. Definitely recommend it and sure to book it next time I’m in San José CR!

This condo is located on the third floor (via elevator) at the end of a hall, with views to a green space and giant chunk of granite. The unit has two bedrooms (only one with AC) with a third loft style swing space (office / bedroom). The kitchen & living space are compact but sufficient for a short stay. The true bonus is access to a clubhouse with bar/restaurant, two pools, gym and two tennis hard courts. The recreational space has a wonderful view down to the Central Valley. We appreciated the security at the property entrance & access to a covered parking spot. The main issue to consider is the fact that a condo has neighbours - some of whom have dogs that bark and/or enjoy family gatherings at a volume not conducive to sleep on a Saturday night. Otherwise, it’s a good option for activities in and around Santa Ana & San Jose.

Lugar lindisimo y tranquilo. Apenas para desconectarse de todo y realmente descansar. Lugar con muchas zonas para relajarse y verdaderamente descansar. Lucia es súper atenta y preocupada porque uno realmente se sienta como en casa. Una huerta con productos frescos y deliciosos. Espero volver pronto!

Ruben was an amazing host! Place was super cozy and he was SUPER NICE! We couldnt feel more at home than what we did! This was the consensus of myself, wife and kids! Will look for this place when going to Costa Rica!!
