Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Aguacaliente o San Francisco District

This airbnb mountain home exceeded all expectations with its breathtaking views and cozy, beautiful interior. We all had a relaxing time...the fireplace and fantastic jacuzzi made for a truly unforgettable stay. On top of that, Maria Laura was incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming, even providing us with coffee and delicious homemade tortillas! 10/10 we hope to be back soon!

The place is small, but cozy, the views beautiful. It has plenty of facilities, although it does not have a kitchen itself, it has many appliances with which you can cook something if you want. The only thing is that those days I was working in the place and personally I did feel uncomfortable at times. But after that, it's a very nice place and Kim is a super host, she was always answering my questions and giving us directions

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

He's a great host. Try to go in a good weather day for them to take advantage of all that the place has to offer. Check in is complicated, I would recommend a 4x4 for the same. There are two restaurants that make home deliveries.

We stayed at Doug's house for one night, 4 families, with 4 children. The area is one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica, it has a spectacular view and if you like the cold weather, it is the ideal place for a holiday outside the city but quite close. The cabin is super cozy, equipped with everything we needed for the needs of all families, Doug was super attentive from the first moment. We had a really good time - we would recommend it and will definitely return. We loved it!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

The cottage is very nice and practical. It has a beautiful view and the weather is very pleasant, it is next to the road so sometimes you can hear the noise of cars and motorcycles but it is something minimal for such a nice place, I highly recommend it and the host is very friendly:)

Simrat's place is a beautiful find. The view is unbeatable and it feels secluded while still being close to a lot. While there is no AC you truly don't need it. The house has a great cross breeze and i found it to be very comfortable!

Remote location with beautiful views, perfect for escaping from the city. Surrounded by nature and cold weather. Hosts are available for any need. You can get there by car and it's best to move to nearby supermarkets.

Excellent price and area! The host responded quickly and that allowed me to make the most of the facilities. Amazing pool 🏊‍♀️

Without a doubt, the jewel of the place is the view, it is imposing during the day, captivating at night, the bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is clean, modern and pleasant. The place has stable Wi-Fi and is close to several restaurants, I definitely plan to return, it is an excellent place to rest from the city and connect with nature or for a romantic date.

Beautiful and quiet place. Just to disconnect from everything and really rest. Place with many areas to relax and truly relax. Lucia is super attentive and worried because you really feel at home. A orchard with fresh and delicious produce. I hope to return soon!

Nice place, the cabin has all the comforts and is equipped for cooking. The property is beautiful and the trails duly marked. The beautiful location to go to the Turrialba area. Falls close to the place and more activities, Alberto was very kind and always attentive to answer messages and was very kind. We look forward to coming back!!

This was the best place Ive ever been while booking my stay in this platform. The whole stay felt like a fairytale, the place is perfect for families looking for quality time. the town is very peaceful and the place too, of course. Great attention to detail and the hosts were so loving and kind.

Our stay at the cabin was simply spectacular. Everything exceeded our expectations: the cleanliness, the details, the comfort... we have absolutely nothing negative to say. The cabin and the entire property are beautiful, you can breathe tranquility and you can see the care in every corner. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Definitely a place we'd like to go back to.

Better than in the photos, what a TOP LOCATION.. very HIGH in the mountains, fortunately we had a 4x4, although I understood that there have also been guests without 4x4. We thought it was an exciting ride but definitely worth it.

The sound of the river is relaxing, the owners are building a beautiful place with a lot of effort, it will undoubtedly be a unique place, it is a few meters from the Gato river and the entrance to the Marta shelter, the place has trails and access to the river and unique landscapes!

The place is beautiful, beautifully decorated and cozy, for those of us who like to cook, the kitchen is special for that. Clean and safe.
