Family-friendly holiday rentals in Acquedolci

Fantastic family villa with stunning vistas. It was great for our large family and still giving us enough space for ourselves. Shops nearby and good access to Taormina.

The apartment was very modern and clean. It is centered nearby the castle - note that the streets are pretty small in the center of the village, so it's better when you have a small car. Also, the road from Catania to Montalbano are very curvy and damaged at the end.

I will be completely honest with this review. Giuseppe personally met us to check us in and gave us some great recommendations on what to see and where to eat locally. The villa was beautiful and very well kept. Joanna (Giuseppe’s assistant) was always responsive and also very pleasant. I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a nice private and quiet stay to consider this location and aside from the nice amenities it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Giuseppe and Joanna who are good hearted people. You can put a price on location, service and the rest but the way Giuseppe and Joanna treated us was priceless. The location is clean and beautiful and the people are great to work with! Without a doubt I would give this all 5 stars

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Très beau logement, fidèle à la réalité. Emplacement idyllique avec vue sur la mer. La piscine est bien entretenu (un employé passe tous les samedis, c'est rapide). Un logement secondaire est loué également au dessus mais les deux sont bien distincts. L'intérieur qui reste tout à fait confortable commence un peu à vieillir. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

The apartment is perfect for exploring Cefalu, right in the historic centre. It is super clean and equiped with all you need, and more. Overall very beautiful renovated with charming art and accesoires. The wellness bathroom is amazing, on a few rainy days it gave us relaxation at home. Only thing to consider is that due to its location it can be loud at night. Dario is a great host, very flexible and easy to communicate with. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Ohne die genauen Angaben zur Anreise durch die Vermieterin hätten wir die Unterkunft nicht gefunden. Das liegt zum einen an der schlechten Ausschilderung, zum anderen an den kleinen, maroden Straßen. Cinzia war eine äußerst aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die sich um unsere Wünsche gekümmert hat und unsere vielen Fragen zu ihrem Projekt, zu Sizilien beantwortete. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war hochwertig und nachhaltig, was uns wirklich beeindruckte. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! Annette

Lovely apartment with very large terrace , great help getting our heavy bags up to room. Super location and host help organise taxi when we needed it.

Bra beskrivning och medföljande videoklipp för att hitta boendet, vilket var svårt via Google maps. En rejäl stigning med bilen, som var väl mödan värt! Oerhört vackert boende och omgivning med fantastisk pool! Cinzia var väldigt vänlig och hjälpsam vid frågor och funderingar. Castelmola som by var också den väldigt vacker och det fanns många mysiga restauranger att äta på. Rekommenderar starkt!

Vincenzo und sein Sohn Antonio sind großartige Gastgeber. Wir haben uns in der FeWo vom ersten Tag sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche hat alles, wad man benötigt. Die gesamte Wohnung ist sehr gut und modern eingerichtet. Die Terrasse ist zur Nordseite ausgerichtet. D h., dass es in der Vorsaison dort zum längeren Sitzen ggf. noch etwas kühl ist. Es gibt aber einen wunderschönen hinteren Bereich, der durch die Südausrichtung zum aufwärmen einlädt. Im Sommer ist man bestimmt dankbar, dass die Terrasse nur in den frühen Morgenstunden in der Sonne liegt. Nach Cefalu kann man ohne Probleme laufen [1,6 km] und erspart sich somit den Parkstress. Geheimtipp: Auch unten am Hafen darf [noch] kostenlos geparkt werden. Wir können die FeWo sehr empfehlen.

L'esperienza nell'alloggio di Giuseppe è stata più che positiva. Host molto reattivo e disponibile per ogni esigenza. Zona tranquillissima. Un plauso al letto che è risultato molto confortevole. L'alloggio rispondeva alla descrizione dell'annuncio. Se dovessimo tornare in quella zona cercheremo di alloggiare nuovamente da Giuseppe. Consiglio a tutti questa esperienza.

Sehr entspanntes Anwesen direkt am Etna - etwas rustikaler aber mit sehr viel Charme. Wir waren mit Baby hier und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und die ruhige Berglage genossen. Vor Ort gab es alles, was wir brauchten und auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Ende Mai war es dort auf 700m Höhe noch etwas frisch, weshalb wir den Pool nicht wirklich nutzen konnten. Ich denke am besten kommt man hier im Sommer hin, wenn es an der Küste schon zu heiß ist und man vor der Hitze fliehen will. Wir konnten den großen Außenbereich aber trotzdem sehr geniessen. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich und die Anfahrt von der Küste ist stellenweise steil, kurvig und zieht sich ziemlich hin - da hat man nicht sehr oft Bock drauf.. Wir haben auch deshalb nur jeden zweiten Tag Ausflüge gemacht und ansonsten viel am Haus entspannt. Andrea war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und obwohl er selbst in den Urlaub gefahren ist, sehr gut zu erreichen.

Magnifique séjour avec une vue sur l’Etna depuis la terrasse (avec une éruption en plus!)! Super communication (même si je ne parlais pas italien) avec Césare, qui nous rappelle qu’il faut être « tranquilo » ;) Petites attentions pour le petit déjeuner et il nous a même guidé à pied pour aller manger chez les mamme del borgo. Merci !☺️

As is often the case, the pictures of the view don't come close to the actual view we enjoyed during our stay. Absolutely breathtaking! The apartment was nicely appointed and around a 15 minute walk to the core town activities of Taormina. The owners of the apartment live upstairs and were a joy to get to know. If you love dogs, their sweet Papaya will become your new best friend. Our hosts were very responsive and even brought us some sweet lemon mousse (and shared the recipe!) for us to enjoy. I am quite certain we will be visiting Taormina again, as it is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I will definitely look to stay here again.

We can not say enough good things about Marta’s place! First, the location with the view of the water is perfection. We had several meals enjoying the balcony seating. The space offers everything you may need and the location of Deco grocery around the corner is a bonus. This location is walkable to the train station and Silvio picked us up there upon our arrival which was so thoughtful. We used beach chairs and an umbrella that other guests had left for the beach! The washing machine came in handy to refresh our travel clothes. We could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay and next time we visit, we will gladly stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at Lorenzo’s. The location is tucked out of the way, with amazing views and we had the pool to ourselves for the whole of our stay. The house itself is basic but had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed leisurely morning breakfasts on our patio and reading by the pool. We absolutely fell in love with Cefalù, although didn’t attempt walking in due to the heat, so we’d recommend having a car if you want to book here. If we’re being picky, it’s a shame that you can’t use the pool area during certain times of day, and we had to take our rubbish to the waste centre when we left which seemed a little strange to us. All in all, we would definitely come back - thank you Lorenzo.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in den Bergen von Campofelice di Roccella. Ruhige Lage, sehr privat und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Casa della Ceramica hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Right from the start, our hosts went above & beyond to make sure my family had a wonderful first visit to Sicily. Our overnight flight arrived early in the morning, and they were able to accommodate an early check-in, complete with a tour of the apartment’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and two terraces. They showed us around the building, made sure we knew how to access to the pool, and gave us clear instructions for how to get in and out of the garage and pedestrian entrances. They even went so far as to make dinner reservations for us that ensured our 11th wedding anniversary was spectacular and surprised us with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator. The two bedrooms were perfect for our family of three, and they provided a crib and bed linens for our son. The terraces were incredible, with unobstructed views of the water. The air conditioning was also essential in the hot Sicilian summer. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina

Melania è stata gentile e disponibile da subito. La casa è super carina e comoda. Immersa nel parco naturale, vicina alle gole dell'Alcantara. Tranquilla e rilassante ma comunque non distante al centro abitato. La famiglia di Melania, che abita al piano di sotto, si è resa disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Torneremo molto volentieri e lo consiglierò ad amici.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit auf der Olivenfarm. Trotz später Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und direkt mit den nötigsten Lebensmitteln aus eigener Herstellung und Ernte versorgt. Francesco hat sehr proaktiv mit uns kommuniziert und Marta hat uns eine sehr interessante Führung durch die Gebäude und das Gelände gegeben. Unsere Unterkunft war für 2 Personen ausreichend groß, es gab eine voll ausgestattete Küche und draußen einen großen Esstisch unter einem Baum – schön ruhig und privat. Wir waren zu der Zeit die einzigen Gäste und hatten somit absolute Ruhe und den Pool ganz für uns, ein Traum! Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist Torrenova fußläufig erreichbar. Man kann dort abends Essen gehen und wir haben an einem Tag auch einen Ausflug mit dem Zug gemacht, als wir keine Lust hatten Auto zu fahren. Wer es rustikal und ruhig mag (und mit Moskitos umgehen kann) wird hier eine tolle Zeit haben!

Helgas place exceeded our expectations. We had family of 7 and the apartment is spacious and very comfortable with an amazing view . The location is quiet whilst being only a few minutes walk from the town centre . We had a problem with the shower head and it was sorted within a couple of hours . Great service . This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)
