The flat is a great base for York. As soon as you get to the end of the adjoining Grosvenor Terrace you feel like you're in the city. Free, no permit street parking. No cleaning fee. Our 2 bed house is an end of terrace property built in the 1870's. Originally built to house the workers at Terry's Chocolate factory … which sadly is no longer making chocolate! This property is just a short stroll to York's premier Racecourse. The house is approximately 150 years old so as you would expect, it does have character! We have decorated and furnished the house to provide a clean, comfortable and cosy environment to help you relax and enjoy your trip to York.

Modern studio annex to 1850s cottage with its own access, close to to the stunning city of York. Looks onto big family garden, feels like a country retreat but only 15 minutes' easy and beautiful river walk from city centre. Well behaved pets welcome. Should the annex be booked for your preferred dates, do look up our shepherds hut. Please note that ‘cancelled dates’ mentioned in the March 2020 reviews were due to government Covid regulations - not us!

We provide cafeterie coffee, Yorkshire tea. Although we both work full time we try to be flexible with dropping bags early. Just ask and we'll do our best to let you drop bags early and collect them late so you can make the best of your time away.
