Holiday rentals with beach access in Aci Castello

The apartment exceeded my expectations and I think it is very good value. I especially appreciated how charming, large and spacious the apartment feels. High ceilings make the apartment feel bright and spacious. The location of the apartment is superb, not only very close to the beach, but also close to a supermarket, cafes, a patisserie, and specialty fish shop. Agatha provides details about all of these local gems upon arrival. The apartment is in the seaside town of Letojanni, a very short distance from Taormina. By staying in Letojanni, I think I benefit from a more peaceful, relaxing stay, while still easily reaching Taormina for sightseeing. Agatha is a superb host in every way. Timely communication via the AirBnB app, a very kind in person greeting upon arrival and departure made me feel welcomed and at home. The local recommendations were perfect. Thank you Agatha for helping to make my visit to Letojanni so memorable!

Great for a couple. From the beautiful terrace overlooking the Bay of Taormina!

Very nice, well-kept apartment close to the beach. Via a footpath you can reach numerous good restaurants and a small supermarket within 5 minutes. The amenities with air conditioning, dishwasher and washing machine are very good. The private parking space fits well for the typical Italian small cars.

It's all about the view. Livio's apartment is comfortable, clean, well-maintained and properly equipped. Perfect for a couple. Livio is a helpful and responsive host, greeting us on arrival and making sure we understood everything about (for example) gaining access to the gated area and parking our rental car. Our rented Peugeot 208 only *just* fit in the space. Stazzo is a small and fairly sleepy town - more of a village. The local restaurant and snack bars are good, but limited. Visitors really need use of a car to get to more interesting places in the vicinity. Acireale, Taormina and Etna are in easy reach, with Messina a little further. The most amazing part of staying in Livio's apartment is the sea view from the balcony, looking out over a lava-flow beach. Just stunning!

We had a fantastic stay at Concetta's place. The house is beautifully decorated and very welcoming and cosy, so adults and children alike felt right at home. It's not huge but the space is very well organised. Our kids even missed the place after we left. The location is unbeatable, right at the heart of the Giardini Naxos seafront. There is a parking lot nearby, and we visited in April so there was ample parking along the beach. The place is surrounded with restaurants and cafes, there is a small grocery store right next door and a larger one across the street. Concetta was very welcoming and responsive. Overall, this was a perfect place for us (family with 3 young kids) to explore the east side of Sicily, and we would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Marco and his parent were the sweetest hosts. We where traveling with our two small children and they where so considerate, finding useful stuff, toys, beach towels, highchair etc. The apartment is even more beautiful in reality. Everyday we woke up to the sunrise. Unfortunately the gas went out, and the dishwasher broke while we were there. Things that sometimes happen. But the way the family helped us and responded so quickly to our needs was amazing. Useful things to know: the public transport with bus is very unpredictable. There is a noisy street right in front of the building, but the sound of the ocean is higher, so you won’t hear it that much. The apartment is located in the best part and more local restaurants are nearby. To walk to the train station from the apartment is very uncomfortable, without sidewalks on some of the road.

My family and I had a great time in this place. It’s really clean, luminous and well arranged. It’s wonderful to see Isola Bella and the sea from the terrace and the windows. We had great exchanges with the host. It was a great journey!

Everything was perfect,the appartament is nice and very clean ,with new kitchen and a big balcony with an amazing view to the beach and the sea.I really recomand it,it's a perfect place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s place in Sicily. Honestly, the listing doesn’t even begin to capture how special and beautiful the house is. The location is unbeatable—just seconds from the marina—and you can see the sea from almost every corner of the home. There are multiple terraces and seating areas, and the house itself is incredibly spacious. One of our favorite things was the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a real pleasure. Sergio was also super responsive and communicative throughout our stay. He left a very detailed guide full of fantastic restaurant recommendations and local tips, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

Flexible check-in and check-out. Convenient location in a small, but busy town near Catania. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Parking can be a tricky if you have a bigger car.

This is an amazing house on a beachfront road in a charming little town. There is a small square in walking distance that has a nice bar/coffee shop and restaurant. The house itself is lovely with very comfortable beds and amazing views both of the ocean out the front door and balcony, and of Mt Etna out of the two back balconies. Bedrooms are good sized with two full baths on the first floor and a half bath with the bedroom on the second floor. We had 5 adults in our group and never felt cramped. WiFi is good. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and very responsive to questions and give a good list of local attractions and restaurants to try. House is in an area with easy access to both Catania and Taormina, both about 35-45 minutes away by car. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Gorgeous, gorgeous. Lovely sandy pubic beach out front, and a lovely space within. After traveling for many months, we were happy to have a good kitchen. Super quiet. A good value within the area (of wealthy resorts). The place smells very clean. Book it!

We really enjoyed our stay in Aci Castello, a charming village, where there are several restaurants and all the necessary shops within 1 km of the accommodation. The terrace is really very pleasant and allows you to have breakfast in the sun, even in December... The heart of this small seaside village has a lot of charm. We would recommend it in a second! Thanks to Stefania and Ricardo, who were very flexible with our check-in and check-out times.

Upper apartment in wonderful 2-Whg.- House in a quiet location, very nice and forward-looking with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Breakfast on the balcony with great views of the nearby sea, sleeping with gentle sound of the sea, wonderful. Access to pools and sea via a small, beautiful garden. Host Daniele helpful, reliable, very friendly, his German is perfect, good tips. Location Giardini Naxos very lively, pre-season recommended. Guided tour to Etna is worth it, our guide Denny (Sicily-Adventure) extra class because he knew a lot and was funny. Also well organized. Tip: you can easily reach all destinations by bus (drivers are nerve-strong artists)!!! Castelmola a must. By the way, easy bus transfer from Catania airport. You can actually save yourself a rental car! Last but not least: Italians very friendly people! And they can drive very well, even if you hardly believe it as a German...

The apartment was a great option for us to stay long-term in Sicilia outside the bigger cities but still close. We enjoyed our stay so much as it is calm with a beautiful view from the balcony, a fireplace inside and so many cozy corners. The flat has everything you need, is well equipped (really enjoyed the beamer for movies and the sound system for music) and Angelo was always so helpful. Acireale has very nice cafés and restaurants and after some days you get familiar with the surroundings and staff starts greeting you as it becomes a regular place. The station is a bit far but nontheless we enjoyed the walk there and so many other cities and places (including Etna, Catania…) are reachable within minutes or hours from there.

To get to the center or the beach or back in the evening, you have to go up and down many steps (or you can use the bus). But that's what makes it so appealing. The apartment is also in the house at the top and that's nice.

A very kind host that gave us a lot of information and was always avaliable. The place was clean and had a lot of basic supplies to cook and water in the fridge when we arrived. The only downside was maybe the paperthin walls where we heard both constructions and the neighbors. The pool was also closed for the season which was a bit sad. On the plus side the ocean is beautiful and the village very sweet and close to a lot of nice things. All in all a lovely stay, we recommend it!

We were very pleased. The apartment is very tastefully furnished. The sunrise on the terrace and the view a dream. Angelo took care of himself quickly and well and also arranged a very friendly driver for the transfer to and from the airport. There is also a lot going on at night in Europaplatz in front of the house, but thanks to the height of the apartment this is not disturbing. The public transport connection is good thanks to the train station "Europa" and AMTS buses (which, however, from time to time before arriving at the stop - although announced - disappear and you have to wait much longer). Also a metro station is near. So you don't have to rent a car to get to know Catania. We are happy to pass on a tip from the nice transfer driver. Pasticceria Verlora & Bonvegna, Via Asiago 60 (so very close). Be sure to go: A tartlet of enjoyment paradise!

Domenica and her husband are great hosts, always responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful holiday there and can highly recommend the accommodation.

Well-located accommodation, close to Catania, Etna, and 1 hour from Taormina. A little out of the tourist center, but several restaurants nearby in Aci Trezza. Excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants by our hosts. Very nice welcome by Julia, many recommendations and detailed information. Accommodation a little cramped if you imagine staying at 4, but ideal for 2 people! Perfect equipment, with beach essentials, umbrellas if needed, etc.

Looking at the photos and then the apartment, this one is much bigger than I perceived it in the photos. The apartment is well lit and the terrace (which has sea and city views) had a lounge chair where it was nice to relax. The apartment is quiet, the bed very large and very comfortable. We needed some heating and the system was working great. The amenities advertised were all available. The apartment is impeccable, clean, well decorated and Lucia put beautiful personal touches in addition to giving us a small memory of our stay. Lucia answered any questions we had and it was done very quickly and with great courtesy. Thank you Lucia, I will not hesitate to recommend your apartment to friends, thank you for everything and I keep a very nice memory of your beautiful terrace.

A great spot for a family, great views over the coast and can see the mainland on a clear day. Higher up in the town so easy to get around and see the sights without a climb or lift. Mornings and evenings stunning and easy to good restaurants and shops for bits that are needed. All in all… just what we hoped for and needed. Comfy beds, aircon and chairs. Very good spot.
