Beachfront holiday rental in Aceh

Het verblijf is simpel maar schoon. Alleen koud water, we hadden eerst een kamer met een slechte douche, toen we om een andere kamer vroegen kregen we hem meteen. Goed restaurant, het ontbijt is wat karig en de koffie niet te drinken..🤫, maar het vriendelijke behulpzame personeel maakte alles goed. Hier hebben we ook onze 3 daagse in de jungle geboekt. we werden begeleid door Leo en Ecco, die waren ècht fantastisch, hadden humor, verzorgde ons geweldig en hadden engelen geduld als het ven niet zo snel ging. in het kamp kregen we het meest fantastische eten bereid door de kok. Helaas ben ik zijn naam vergeten, maar we hebben daar het lekkerste gegeten van onze hele reis!! Op de laatste dag viel ik helaas erg hard, Leo plukte een paar bladeren en maakte er een compress van, waardoor de zwelling s'avonds al weg was! Ook kwam hij s'avonds nog naar het hotel met een wondersmeerseltje welke ik op mijn blauwe plekken en dikke knie moest smeren. Geen idee wat het was, maar het hielp!❤️ Doen!

Wiwi was very helpful. A detailed description of all the waves and location. And Wiwi organized a guided surf tour for our family by car and boat free of charge for the first day of our visit. Wiwi answered all of our questions (we asked many) and always responded within an hour. The staff at Pondak OMA was very kind and accommodated our children their needs by cooking what they liked. Laundry service and unlimited tea, coffee and water onsite included in the stay. Pick up and drop off at airport included and in 2 trips with staff member staying with our luggage and many surfboards at airport. Pondak OMA is located 5 minutes away by scooter from Dylan’s right and One Tong, 15 minutes from Alus Alus. Great location, kind staff, Wiwi is very helpful. Very comfortable beds, good food, scooter rental onsite. Would definitely recommend. Terima Kasih!

Great value for money. Not fancy but has all the basics. Helpful communication before we arrived, friendly staff, awesome food (we had breakfast included, then paid for lunch & dinner, they were flexible on timing). Motorbikes with board racks available for rent. Pondok Oma is in a quiet rural area on the edge of a bay. It’s between Dylan’s surf break (about 3 mins drive), and lots of other South coast breaks. Wiwi arranged surf board transport from Medan via driver & ferry, which was cheaper than flying it and useful for storage while doing other things. Would be much cheaper than flying if you have more than 1 board (domestic flight pay per board). Allow 2 days for delivery.

Fantastic location overlooking the river and surrounded by lots of greenery. The host is so friendly, helpful and responsive. He looked after me before, during and after the stay.

The place was very nice, just like in the pictures. There are plenty of surfspots around the bungalow, wich we could drive with our scooter. But the waves are definitely not for beginners. Other than that we had a wonderful time. Jenny and Roy, the couple that manage the place are just wonderful people. Jennys cooking skills are of the chart, every meal we ate tasted delicious! They made our stay very comfortable. The rooms were very clean.

Vielen Dank Ipah, Fahrol und Staff für die wunderschöne, entspannte Zeit auf Simeulue. Wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ipah hat jede Menge Tipps für Ausflüge und war immer für uns da. Ob indonesisch oder westliche Küche, es war immer ein Fest. Surfen in leeren Line-Ups mit Fahrol war jedesmal weltklasse. Das Haus liegt direkt am Strand in Alus, zu den nächsten Surfspots sind es keine 5 Minuten. Abends ein Lagerfeuer am Strand unter Palmen und den Sternen. Was will man mehr? Mooie plek op het eiland

Unser Aufenthalt bei Borja und seiner Familie war fantastisch. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und man merkt schnell, mit wie viel Herz die Bungalows und das Restaurant an diesem schönen Ort betrieben werden. Borja war eine große Hilfe bei der Organisation der An- und Abreise und gab uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Auch das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant war sehr gut! Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt, wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Wir haben robby direkt im olala kaffee angetroffen für den check in und es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Das cafe liegt direkt neben unserem bungalow. Alles wie auf den Bildern. Haben uns jeden Tag Schnorchel günstig ausgeliehen im olala und sind direkt am Bungalow schnorcheln gegangen - haben wunderschöne korallenriffe und jede menge Fische gesehen. Alles prima. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Dankeschön und bis bald!

Wir wurden sehr lieb empfangen und hatten insgesamt eine sehr tolle Zeit! Die Bungalows sind schlicht und sauber, man hat eine sehr passende Terrasse mit einer Hängematte und einem schönen Ausblick, wo man sehr schön entspannen konnte und der Natur lauschen. Direkt daneben gibt es das Olala Cafe wo man lecker und preisgünstig essen kann. Es war auch sehr schön an so einem Ort sich mit einem Deutschen Gastgeber und einer Gastgeberin, Martin und Santi zu unterhalten, wo man sich Tips holen konnte und gleichzeitig über den Ort erfahren. Wir würden auf jeden Fall die Delfin Tour ans Herz legen! Es war ein Ort zum Entspannen und gleichzeitig erleben! Und bisher das Highlight unserer Backpackingreise! Al bij de aanvraag heeft Santi me erg snel en vriendelijk geholpen om de transfer van de ferry naar de accommodatie te regelen. Eens toegekomen nam ze zich echt de tijd om me persoonlijk te begroeten en even rond te leiden. Ze doet haar werk met veel passie en vreugde. Ik kreeg een splinternieuwe bungalow met fantastische uitzicht en directe toegang tot water. Enkel de wifi was niet heel sterk. Maar de heb je bij dat prachtige uitzicht en fantastische ijsland ook niet echt nodig ;)

Wonderful stay at ipah and Marc beach house. It was perfect. The house is amazing, perfect to chill and relax. The localisation is the best, so many empty surfspot around. Marc knows well the island and have always good advice of what to do and where to surf. Super clean and great food with big quantity. Super arranging with everything, they always have a solution. Definitely the best place to stay in simeulue. Thanks very much we all enjoyed it and we will definitely come back !

Il bungalow di Diana è stata la scelta perfetta per passare la nostra settimana nell’arcipelago della Banyak. Io e la mia fidanzata abbiamo condiviso il bungalow con una coppia di svizzeri conosciuti a Tuk-Tuk, ogni coppia aveva la sua stanza da letto con un soggiorno e una veranda super spaziosa che si affaccia direttamente sull’Oceano. Consiglio a tutti, per chi vuole passare delle giornate indimenticabili nell’isola di Sikandang.
