Little Suite in the Woods

The house is located on the quiet side of the island, 1/2 mile off of Rt. 198. As you depart 198 a gravel road takes you through dense forest, leaving behind the street noise and summer rush. When you arrive you are surrounded by woods with not another house in sight. If you are looking to be in town, this is not it. We are within walking distance of nature, nothing more.

Walk to the ocean from the cottage and enjoy coffee along the shore in Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula. At night, marvel at the stars you can almost reach up and touch. Walk, drive, run, or bicycle the scenic, 12-mile loop road that winds along the ocean and ends at your doorstep.

Our modern log cabin has stunning views of Frenchmen Bay in a very private, serene location. With 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms & one large loft) /2 baths it is the perfect spot for a family or two to enjoy. Whether you enjoy sipping coffee on the deck, sitting by the ocean, or exploring the tide pools by the shore, there are many areas to enjoy. In Nov 2021- the cabin had full bathroom renovations & all new decor. Our other property is Bar Harbor Cedar Chalet.
