The hostel "Casa Guama" is a beautiful colonial house built in the 1940s, with high struts and a constructive style that keeps the house in the colonial style that gave rise to it. Large windows and doors allow a natural ventilation that guarantee a pleasant ambient temperature inside the house. We didn't have anything to do with Edy but Daniel was just amazing! He cared for us like family. The place was spotless clean when we got there and Daniel did everything to make us feel comfortable. The downside of this place is that there's no WiFi (Daniel manages for you go get WiFi in a hotel about 15mins walking in the centre). And for the usual power cuts in Cienfuegos it's recommended to bring power banks etc.

Marisols room was basic but adequate. She served a delicious breakfast for $5. Playa Giron has power for only 2-4 hours a day and no one has back up generators so that is an issue in the heat. It’s a small quiet town with a small beach near by. The carribean is beautiful and warm.

We loved staying here. We felt like we were in a treehouse in an enchanted valley. What a rich natural place. Communication with the host beforehand was a little difficult as they live abroad - if you're arriving in Trinidad late in the evening it might be hard to find a taxi driver to take you up to this place. However, once you arrive, the family who look after you are friendly and cook delicious food. They helped us find a way around Topes de Collantes too.

Enrique welcomed us very well when we arrived! Even before check-in time, he gave us precise directions and helped us with our luggage. It was a good experience even though we only stayed one night, but everything was impeccable and looked like in the photos!

Beautiful house in a calm area (Playa Rancho Luna). Very close to beach and diving centre. Ocean from the terrace. Host helped to arrange trip to El Nicho. Food was excellent!! Probably the best food I had in all of Cuba. Meals may appear a bit pricy but totally worth it if you enjoy good food. =) The house is very beautiful with its colours, furniture and decorations! I really loved it! <3 Together with the calm area and the ocean view it really boosted my creativity levels which was exaclty what I needed for my work. I stayed five (5) days. Really recommend this place!
