We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house in Ourem! Very clean and spacious for our family of six. The photos are very accurate and the location is a short walk into town. We enjoyed visiting Fatima and the local area, we also really appreciated João's recommendations, particularly the best beach to go to with children. During our stay in Ourem, João responded very quickly to our queries and we felt truly welcomed by our host. We also appreciated Pedro's kindness in adjusting the dates in advance of our trip. We would love to come back and visit again one day! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Wow!! What a gorgeous house, so peaceful, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The back garden and surrounding town is stunning. Thank you Anabela, your hosting, thoughtful gifts and quick communication made our first night in Portugal a highlight. Wish we had stayed longer, will definitely return if we come back to Portugal!

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

From the time we met Rogerio, we felt like we were staying in a friends home. He is so thoughtful and welcoming. The place itself is charming and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

Luiz and his wife were excellent hosts. Always eager to help. Place was very clean, Gates and cozy inside. Big terrace with great view. Felt like home away from home

Fomos extremamente bem recebidos e recebemos as melhores instruções e boas-vindas! O espaço interno é confortável e o jardim é relaxante e lindo. Exatamente o que nós e nossos 3 cães precisávamos: um final de semana de descanso e conexão com a natureza. Recomendo vivamente!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is a little grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. It was a lovely spot to stay and drive to Fatima and other sites in the area. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the place and they came right away and met us. Would definitely stay again!!

Rita was erg vriendelijk, je kreeg snel contact en het huisje stond op een mooie plek. Er was van alles aanwezig voor een paar fijne dagen. ik zou de woning omschrijven als perfect voor 2 personen

A Maria foi uma excelente anfitriã, sempre disponível e muito prestável! Quando nos apercebemos que não existia um forno, foi muito atenciosa e arranjou-nos de imediato uma air fryer, o que fez toda a diferença! A casa, no geral, tem bons pontos, incluindo o jardim com piscina, que é um espaço maravilhoso. No entanto, consideramos que é mais indicada para 2 ou, no máximo, 3 pessoas. Éramos 4 e especialmente ao nível dos espaços comuns e da logística do dia a dia, nomeadamente camas, tornou-se mais complicado. No geral, a experiência foi muito positiva, com a simpatia da Maria a destacar-se!

Wir haben den traumhaften Garten mit Pool sehr genossen und auch die Unterkunft entsprach unseren Bedürfnissen bestens. Luis und Rosa waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können einen Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen! Vielen Dank für alles

This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures. We really had the most amazing time with our group of friends! Thank you Sergio!

Wow, what a beautiful quinta and wonderful location. We felt very welcome with our baby and dogs. It was peaceful and quiet with beautiful sunrises. We could see returning here when our child is older, it would be a great place for kids to play. So much to do and so many animals to see. Great dirt road to walk just off the property and so fast to get into Tomar. Thanks!

Staying in Tomar was an unforgettable experience. The house is within walking distance from the train station and right next to ancient walls that lead to a beautiful castle. The area is peaceful with no nearby houses, so it’s incredibly quiet day and night—at night, you hear nothing but birds and insects. The guest house has everything you need, with fast Wi-Fi, strong and hot water, and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, you can relax in a hammock or enjoy the sun in a chair. The sunset is stunning, and the night sky is full of stars. The host lives in the main house at a respectful distance, offering full privacy but always ready to help if needed. They are truly kind, thoughtful, and respectful—anticipating guests’ needs and making sure your stay is perfect. I even got fresh lemons from the garden and made delicious lemonade. Thanks to the host’s warmth, I fell in love with Tomar and would return in a heartbeat.

Localisation dans une vallée. A proximité (30min-1h) d'activitées et visites. Nous avons reçu les informations à l'avance afin de trouver la maison. Nous avons réussi grâce aux coordonnées GPS. Nous avons été accueillis par nos hôtes. Cela fait plaisir d'avoir pu échanger avec eux et avoir des recommandations de visites et restaurants. Ils sont restés à notre écoute selon nos besoins. Les enfants ont adoré jouer avec leur chienne Ruby avant nos visites. Belle maison mitoyenne aux hôtes. Les photos correspondent. C'est une demeure typique Portugaise. Elle était bien équipé pour nous. Le canapé et les matelas ont peut être un peu vécu selon notre confort. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de très bons moments au bord de la piscine, de calme dans les hamacs et des apéros ensoleillés sur la terrasse avec des parties de ping ping. Nous recommandons.

Paula doet er echt alles aan om het je zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Wat een lieve, aardige vrouw en wat een fijn huis is het. We waren er in een nogal natte periode en in huis was het koud. Maar er was genoeg hout voor de kachel en ze kwam ons nog electrische kacheltjes brengen voor in de slaapkamers. We kwamen ook pas om 00:30 aan 's nachts en dat hadden we gecommuniceerd dus waren er verse eitjes en broodjes in huis voor in de ochtend want het dorpje lag nogal afgelegen (wat juist voor de rust heerlijk is). Maar we leerden ook dat er een bakker 's nachts langs kwam en dat je een tasje met een briefje erin kon doen en dat had je 's ochtends vers brood! Ik kan nog zoveel vertellen maar je moet het zelf maar gaan ervaren. Hoe dan ook: Paula is een topper!!

Die Unterkunft war super schön, es ist in der Natur und man hat mit dem Auto viele Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen oder in Nationalparks zu gehen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn man etwas Ruhe braucht, ist es perfekt. Auch waren Lois und Igor stets erreichbar, sehr nett und bei Problemen wurde sofort geholfen. Ich hatte wirklich eine tolle Zeit Einzig allein haben mich morgens und Abends die Hunde aus der Hundezucht in der Nähe gestört, da sie sehr viel gebellt haben

Beautiful Mongolian yurt in a serene setting immersed in nature. The space is well equipped for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the nearby river and the hike leading to it. John and his wife are friendly and gave us tips about the area as well as some knowledge to start off grid living.

Jose's place was amazing! He and his team had great communication, we're very responsive and helpful. Place is well organized and has everything you need, just a great place to relax and the surrounding area is beautiful
