The cottage was very clean, plenty of room for two couples or would be great for a family of four. Nice clean bathrooms and kitchen. The cottage sits right beside a beautiful tumbling creek. Really nice outside decking and tables and chairs. Very peaceful.

Amy's place is a clean, comfortable two bedroom home on a very quiet and secluded gravel road, only 10 or 15 minutes away from Grayson Highlands State Park and the wonderful Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area, one of my favorite places in the southern Appalachians. The house has everything one needs for a highly pleasant getaway. I'm a repeat customer.

Jennifer’s place was wonderful. It was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs. Her pace was exactly as described and dog friendly. The back yard was privacy fenced and the perfect size for our pups. Jennifer was very responsive and very personable. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. That porch is EVERYTHING! The property is a way out of town so be prepared. As the description states it is an old schoolhouse with a lot of charm. There is no central air, so at first it seemed stuffy and humid in the home. Maybe it had not been rented in a while? Not sure...We were fine though! The kitchen is stocked very well. The beds were comfortable. We loved getting to speak with Darlene and meeting all the doggies!

We enjoyed a family get together including Virginia Creeper Trail biking. The patio became the heart of the house for us as it was a great place to eat, gather and play. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cooking ware and tableware, but you may need to bring your own cooking basics like oil, sugar, spices and foil. We appreciated the abundant linens and blankets, including towels for the hottub. The location was close to restaurants and area attractions. Molly was easy to communicate with and had helpful information to share. A great stay amidst beautiful mountains!

This is the 2nd time Ive stayed at Micah's little cottage, and I love it. Its just enough for me and my daughters. Extremely clean, its comfortable and definitely geared to the girlies. I left a jacket behind the first time and they graciously held it and put it back for me for my 2nd visit. I like the location, its close to everything but feels quiet. You can walk to the river from it very easily. (Which I did every day)This will be my go-to for all future visits to Elizabethton. Also, Micah is very responsive, she answers quickly-everything you want in a host. Love.

This house is very nice, and the host responds very promptly to any questions or issues that may arise. Very clean also very quiet in the area, and something to do for everyone.

Location, location, location! Perfect place to walk into town or take a ride on the Creeper Trail. Fantastic fenced in yard and patio area. Lots of extras including water and soda in the frig and the softest towels ever!!! Definitely a 5 star host and house!!

We rented this house for our family to stay for my daughter’s graduation. We were all able to stay together and enjoy one another’s company. So much better than a hotel! The pool was not open for the season yet but it wasn’t really warm enough anyways. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Linens were fresh and also plentiful. We loved seeing all the deer. The only negative was driving the narrow roads in the dark. They made me nervous because I was unfamiliar with the area and it was very dark with a high likelihood of deer. Of course definitely not the fault of the host.

Just back from our granddaughter’s graduation from ETSU and all we have to say is - Just a wonderful experience! We would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing space for the family to get together and enjoy each other. The amenities were spot on. Fully furnished kitchen made our in home dining experience a breeze. The whole decor was just amazing! We loved the comfortable feel throughout the home. The indoor heated pool was a big hit with our grandchildren. My wife loved the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. All of the bedrooms had amazing comfortable bedding. The private outdoor setting with wrap around porch with plenty of rocking chairs and a beautiful view made for a relaxing evening of great fellowship. Overall everything with this home was over the top and we loved our experience. Our only regret was that we only got to spend three days here. Next time we are booking a week and truly enjoying all it has to offer.

The SOHO Bungalow was perfect!! So nice and clean! Much nicer than a hotel. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. We were in town for the NHRA races and we will be coming back-we hope to be able to stay here every time!!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly for the pool but the hot tub was great and so was the fire pit. Everything we needed was provided from the kitchen amenities to games to wood for the fire pit. Everything was clean and well stocked. We had a wonderful time and appreciate the attention to detail!! Great place for making family memories and easily accessible for older family members. Nice parking area and spacious indoor floor plan. Outside amenities and fenced yard for entertainment were highlight of the week.

Me and my husband loved Mary’s place! It was spotless inside and the bed was increasingly comfortable. The pool and hot tub were both extremely clean as well. Mary also went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. It’s a beautiful area with lots to do but her home felt like a private sanctuary - I’ve already recommended it to a few of my family and friends :)

We had to work locally for what we thought was just going to be a couple days, which turned into a few more extra days and Keli was very accommodating and quick to respond to our request. The rv fit our needs and there was plenty of grass to roam on for our 2 fur babies and even though the pool looked inviting we unfortunately did not have the time to enjoy it. Overall our stay was very pleasing and peaceful. Definitely recommend and will rebook if we are ever back in the area.

Janice was so friendly and helpful! She checked in with us to make sure we had all that we needed. Our trip was not one of leisure. We ended up being short on time and had to request an extra day to our stay, which I have never done before. She was so very kind and understanding and immediately replied, even going as far as to tell me what to do within the app, to request a change to our reservation. She has a knack for reaching out but not hovering. The property itself was absolutely an Oasis, which was just what we needed! We couldn’t have had a better host or property!!

Our stay at Bob's Bridge was absolutely wonderful! We had such a peaceful stay in our beautiful surroundings. Wendy was an absolute wonderful host. She gave us great recommendations on food and things to do during our stay. We cannot wait to come back and stay in the future!

Spenceville Farmhouse did not disappoint. It was better than expected. The views from this peaceful home are majestic. It is a beautiful backdrop for family photos. If timed right you might be fortunate to glimpse fireflies on a warm evening, or roaming deer on a quiet morning. We enjoyed unwinding after a busy day of exploring the area. It comfortably accommodated our family of eight. We would definitely recommend this home to those looking for a tranquil location, while still close to the conveniences of the quaint town of Saltville.

What a gem! The treehouse is adorable and so unique. It is peaceful and fully stocked. There were farm fresh eggs, things to make smores,a fully stocked kitchen and fridge, and all the amenities needed. This is the first airbnb I've stayed at where I didn't have to go out to purchase groceries, etc. The home is comfy and has a homey feel. Cathy is amazing! She gave great instructions and was so quick to answer any questions. I left things behind and she quickly mailed them to me. Can't say enough how great this place is and how wonderful the host is!

Super clean, great location, very peaceful! Such a beautiful place to stay if you are looking to get away from. Situated great for hiking and exploring local towns. Lance was very friendly, tagged along everywhere with us and was very interested in the dogs!

This was an experience, and a truly great one. As someone who has been to southwest Virginia many times, Christine showcased the best of Appalachia through how incredibly friendly and helpful attitude to her charming tiny home outfitted with local treats. The driveway climb is worth it as you are greeted by cows and beautiful landscapes. The tiny home is adorable and perfect for small families or couples. It was clean, well stocked for all needs throughout our stay, and showed the beauty of the blue ridge mountains outside every window. We will definitely be returning and recommend you check it out as well.
