The Hoquiam River support runs of Chinook, chum, and coho salmon, steelhead, and sea-run trout. just a couple of miles upriver from Historic Downtown Hoquiam restaurants, stores and shops, 20 min to coast 45 min drive to Lake Quinault hiking trails South Shore Trailhead.

The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.
