Traditional Coastal Self-Catering Farmhouse

Ffyllon Fawr is a south facing farmhouse built approx 1890 and has been sympathetically renovated and modernised recently. The farmhouse is in an elevated position and overlooks the farmyard and the beautiful open countryside. To one side is a level patio area with a picnic table/bench leading onto a sloping lawn area. (N.B Bedrooms not requested and booked for are secured allowing us to offer a reduced booking cost for a smaller number of guests. The farmhouse is not shared with other guests.)

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Dairy Cottage-relax and escape to the forest

Dairy cottage is in the forest, on a 1.3 acre garden and we live nearby. This peaceful very rural location down little country lanes is 1000ft above sea level. The cottage is 100% pet friendly. The garden is fenced and completely private. It has a patio area with a table and seating with a BBQ/fire pit. The area is renowned for its peace and tranquility offering a quiet, relaxing break with all the mod cons. Beaches within 40 mins and local shop 15mins away. Main shopping centre 30mins away.

Old Fishermans Cottage

Stay in an authentic Mariners cottage a few minutes walk to the sea on the beautiful Cardigan bay coastal path. This is where quaint seaside towns and villages are nestled between the beautiful seascapes. Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.
