Morriña is a recently renovated house (2019) on the banks of the Miño River, where the water ‘crashes’ against the house’s veranda. It has two exterior bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, and a spacious living room with a fireplace and a veranda overlooking the river on the upper floor. A kitchen with a dining area and a toilet, with access to the courtyard and the veranda, on the ground floor. A great deal of attention has been paid to lighting and comfort. PLEASE NOTE: If you book just one night, there is a surcharge of €50.

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. Welcome to Fogar das Buxainas, a place connected with nature, tradition and the tranquility of a Galician village. Fogar das Buxainas is a family project that was born in 2025 and gives name and life to a story told by my grandmother. Fogar das Buxainas means Home of the Spinning Top, because the owner of the house used to make spinning tops for the children of the village of Arcos. Thanks to this man's generosity, they could play and have fun in those difficult times.
