Cozy cottage on the shore of the beautiful Tornionjoki river

Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

The main building has a kitchen, dining area and living room. Separate toilet with washing machine and dryer, as well as an electric sauna and shower room with toilet seat. Two bedrooms (both with double beds), a loft with a sofa bed (120x200) and, if necessary, 2 extra beds. In addition, the main building has an access from the outside to the additional room upstairs, with two beds as well as armchairs and a small fridge for two. There is also an outdoor sauna and a glazed barbecue hut in the yard. A jetty on the beach.

Fishing opportunity on your own beach (Perch, Pike) Easy to go outdoors right from the cottage yard to the peace of nature. Possibility to also rent a new ATV Polaris Sportman 570. Linens and towels included in the price. Kätkävaara nature trail nearby. There are hundreds of kilometers of different outdoor trails in the area.

Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. Mummolatunnelmaa near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. A well-equipped 1950s cozy frontman-style house. The house has a loft with a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom and a sauna area. The sauna section of the house has a room with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-heated sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 1970s and the surfaces of the sauna and shower room were renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 people. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Onnela Spacious cozy detached house in the beautiful scenery of Ylitornio. The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.
