Family-friendly holiday rentals in Aa en Hunze

Wonderful cottage, no matter which window you look, you only see greenery. We were there with four adults and twins (10 months old). Very clean and no unnecessary stuff which was very suitable for babies. The heating in the rooms takes longer to get warm, in winter you probably have to use the fireplace more heavily. The kitchen is not necessarily equipped for cooking 5-course menus, but everything necessary is available. Too bad it was over so quickly!

Pasja is a relaxed and friendly host. We came for a Bachelor Party with a group of 10 men and had much fun. The house was clean and offers a lot of entertainment options. We felt very comfortable. Thank you Pasja

Jenneke is very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing relaxing time and hopefully can come back some day. The house is spacious with a nice outside area, weather permitting. I just love Dwingeloo.

We had a short but great stay in Hein's brinkstee. Beautiful and clean accommodation and fully met the description and needs. super friendly and correct, and gave good tips for exploring the area. Recommended and also good for larger groups. Stefan

We had a great week at Hein's cottage. We were 13 adults and 2 children. The bedrooms with their private bathrooms were perfect. Very nice cottage with lots of space. a very nice garden, also well kept.

We stayed at Rob's house for a weekend with girlfriends. We had a fantastic time. It has it all and the terrain is huge. We would come back back. Communication with Rob was also incredibly nice and reliable. A thousand thanks for everything! 😊

We were working in Groningen for a week and it was a wonderful peaceful place to stay. Watching the barges go silently by right at the end of the garden while your relax after a busy day is extremely peaceful. Very nice walks from the house in several directions and don't miss the vismarkt a block away for and excellent lunch or dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

To our lovely host Diet. She was excellent and very responsive. At the beginning it was little confusing about getting there but when we arrived it was very easy to find. It was excellent and peaceful for our family stay. We were aloud to use bikes so that helped us a lot for good shopping. Canoe rides were excellent. I think we cannot picked better spot for us. Neighbours were super friendly and welcomed us with smiles and fantastic attitude. We will for sure come back. 😊 Diet- thank you for having us 😊

Very nice B&B. Everything is very neat and cozily decorated. The animals that were present were nice group. We had a nice friends here for a nice weekend!

Lovely few days felt like a home away from home

It's a lovely quiet cottage. The terrace on the Erdwal offers beautiful views over the Drenth nature. For me as a nature photographer, there is a lot to discover directly in the area. The garden also offers sufficient privacy. I loved my stay.

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

It was a very nice stay in the cottage of the bronze bucket! Beautiful location in wooded area and wonderfully quiet. In older updates, I read about a noisy heater, but that didn't bother us, maybe recently renewed? In any case, it was wonderfully warm to get what was welcome after a day of mountain biking. As an extra bonus, we were allowed to check out later so we could still shower after the Sunday bike ride, very much appreciated.

We had a nice stay on Nova Cura. The place was perfect for us 11 girls and the location is great - restaurants, bars and supermarkets are within walking distance. We highly recommend this:-)

Beautiful cottage in the middle of the countryside. Had wonderful vacation.

The host was very friendly and flexible. The place was as described so the stay was very pleasant, the beds were comfortable. The location is very quiet and surrounded by lots of nature.

We stayed during winter time and enjoyed Arenda‘s and Klaas‘ cozy place very much! The big main room was perfect for our group of 8 people to spend time together, do some cooking etc. The hosts were super friendly at all times caring about our wellbeing! We even had the chance to see Klaas feeding the Alpacas 😁 Overall, we can highly recommend the cottage!
