Step into a charming century-old 2-bedroom cottage, thoughtfully renovated to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests (4 in true comfort).
- Master Bedroom: Features a cozy queen bed, air conditioning, and a fan for your comfort.
- Second Bedroom: Offers a double bed and a fan (no AC).
- Living Room: Equipped with a double sofa bed, air conditioning, a fan, and a wood-burning fireplace for those cozy nights.
- Additional Sleeping: Single mattresses available upon request.
- Kitchen: Fully equipped with a gas stove and a generous oven.
- Dining: Gather around the spacious 6-person dining table.
- Bathroom: Enjoy a convenient bathroom with a shower, and a washing machine for your use.
- Toilet: A separate toilet - be mindful to close the lid, as our friendly resident green frogs might pay you a visit.
- Outdoor Living: Relax on the deck with a Weber BBQ, a generous outdoor table, and a comfortable outdoor sofa.
- Pet-Friendly: We welcome your furry friends and allow them to stay inside the house. Please ensure they are well-behaved.
- Accessibility: Please note there is no wheelchair access.

Our spacious yard spans over several thousand square meters and offers various amenities:
- Fire Pit: Gather around the fire pit for evenings filled with warmth and stories.
- Cubby House: A delightful play space for the young ones (use at your own risk).
- Veggie and Herb Garden: Feel free to pick fresh ingredients for your culinary creations.
- Caution: The house is raised and open underneath, so keep a watchful eye on your kids and pets. Remember, you're in the countryside where snakes also call home.
CAMPING
If your friends or family would like to camp at the property during your stay, please send us a message, and we'll be happy to make the necessary arrangements to accommodate their vehicles or equipment for an additional charge.
FUNCTIONS
This is not a party house, but if you are seeking a location to celebrate a truly special occasion with your closest relatives or organize a small workshop, please feel free to message us.
Guest access
Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire home and a garden. To reach the property, follow Gheerulla Rd., but kindly maintain a slow driving speed to minimize dust. Not long after you pass a large horse property, you'll spot the farmhouse on the right-hand side. Continue through the cattle grid and park in the designated area for next to the shed.
While it may seem like the end of the road, please be aware that there is one more house beyond, so ensure the road remains unblocked. Be cautious, as a few cars might pass by; keep an eye on your kids and ensure your dogs are leashed.
For your safety, we kindly request that you do not wander outside of the fenced area during your stay.
Other things to note
- Mobile Reception and Television: There is no mobile reception or television at the property. WiFi is available, with the password provided in a booklet.
- Pantry Supplies: The pantry is stocked with basic essentials, including tea, coffee, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
- Water: The property relies on rainwater for its water supply, so your are asked to be mindful of water usage. It's recommended to boil the water before drinking it, but if you prefer bottled water, bring your own.
- Pets: Pets are more than welcome in the house; however, we kindly request that they do not use beds or furniture. Please ensure that you clean up after your pets by removing all pet droppings and personal rubbish before your departure.
- Country Environment: The property is in a rural area; be prepared for country sounds such as dogs barking, horses galloping, and cows mooing. There's also a chance to spot wallabies early in the morning, and kookaburras are regular visitors.
- Wildlife Caution: Snakes may be present in the area. While efforts are made to inspect for snakes regularly, encounters cannot be guaranteed. Guests are advised to stay safe and avoid disturbing snakes. In case of emergency, a snake catcher's contact number is provided in the booklet. Also, be mindful to close the toilet lid, as our friendly resident green frogs might pay you a visit.
