Perfect for couples or friends, it features open-plan living, an internal courtyard with BBQ and outdoor kitchen, extra outdoor seating, a front deck, and private fish-cleaning station.

The space
George’s Apartment 2 offers easy coastal comfort just moments from the sand. Both bedrooms have queen beds, and the open-plan living and dining space makes relaxing effortless.

Enjoy the internal courtyard for BBQs and alfresco meals, extra outdoor seating down the side, and a sunny front deck for your morning coffee or evening wine.

A private fish-cleaning station is also included for your day’s catch.

Linen is included. Pets are welcome ($40 for one dog + $20 for a second, payable before your stay).

Travelling with friends or family? You can also book George’s Apartment 1 next door. When both are booked together, the apartments sleep up to 10 guests, offering plenty of space while still enjoying your own private areas.

Other things to note
Pets are welcome! A $40 fee applies for one dog, and an additional $20 for a second dog. Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing your furry friend.

EV charging - No electric vehicle charging at the apartments. EV charging at Barley Stacks Wines and in Minlaton.

All phone providers have signal in Marion Bay, though coverage is very limited once you enter Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park.

A high chair is available on request, and there’s a laundromat conveniently located at the Marion Bay General Store.

Please note there’s no Wi-Fi, and the TV receives regional channels only — the perfect excuse to switch off and enjoy coastal life.

Marion Bay is a gorgeous small seaside country town, on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula.

Marion Bay is on the door step of Innes National Park. The Park is a beautiful natural sanctuary full of Australia's best beaches, and is ideal for swimming, surfing, fishing, bush walks and observing the wildlife - we can nearly guarantee that you'll see a kangaroo on your visit. Have a look on the Park's website for further information.

Marion Bay has two main beaches that are a 5 minute walk from the apartment; Willyama know for the SS Willyama ship wreck, and Penguin Point, a vast beach leading to the Marion Bay jetty, which is great for squidding at night. The local beaches are perfect for families. Penguin Point is a shallow beach and ideal for young children.

The town has a great cafe, called Beach Break; serving breakfast and lunch, and coffee, cakes and homemade pies. The Marion Bay Tavern is the only pub in the town, and serves lunch and dinner including wood fire pizzas, and has a bottle shop. The Marion Bay General Store has petrol, take away food and supplies such as milk and bread.

Hi I'm George, I've lived in Marion Bay for 32 years, but frequently visited for the surf before I decided to build my family home here, and raise my girls. I'm a retired carpenter. I built these apartments and my home on the block behind. I love the lifestyle that Marion Bay has to offer; a laid-back, close knit country town where everyone comes together. I look forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you soon!
